Compare eligible offers and complete costs. Never use ACH instructions for a wire, or wire instructions for ACH, unless the receiving provider explicitly authorizes that method.
The banking route changes the preparation
ACH is a U.S. bank-payment network. A provider may ask you to link an account and authorize a payment through its verified process. A wire generally requires sending instructions identifying the receiving bank and account. Follow the exact method requested, including any reference.
Do not copy account details from a previous purchase simply because the company name looks familiar. Routing information, account details, and references must match the current request. A mistake can require investigation and may not be easy to correct after sending.
How the two routes are organized at Fiat2Bitcoin
The ACH route depends on an eligible offer from Changelly and its purchase providers. The selected provider sets its bank-verification process, quote, supported accounts, and timing conditions. Confirm that ACH is actually offered for your location and amount.
The Fiat2Bitcoin wire process starts with a reviewed request. Employees issue request-specific instructions manually. Sending the wire is followed by confirmation of receipt and clearance, review of the final quote, and the separate Bitcoin-delivery step. A request alone does not authorize funding.
Compare total costs, not the word ‘bank’
Fiat2Bitcoin’s wire service fee is 8% below $100,000 or 5% at or above that amount, applied to the full request. Additional bank or purchase charges may apply. That schedule does not price an ACH offer.
For ACH, use the provider’s current quote. Compare the same dollar budget, the quoted Bitcoin amount, and any outside charges you expect. A method described as lower-cost elsewhere is not evidence that it is cheaper for your actual purchase.
Ask when the whole purchase can finish
A bank can describe its transfer schedule, but it cannot establish when a separate Bitcoin provider will finish its review and delivery. Check banking cutoffs and non-business days, then ask the provider what happens after funds reach it.
If timing matters, be specific: ‘When can the bank payment be received?’ and ‘What conditions remain before Bitcoin is sent?’ Those questions avoid confusing a fast payment rail with a guaranteed end-to-end purchase time.
Make a decision with five answers
A useful comparison should fit on one page. Write down the eligible method, total cost, quote timing, delivery conditions, and the support route for an unresolved transfer. If one of those answers is missing, get clarification before sending money.
After selecting a route, use only that route’s current instructions. If you change your mind after authorizing a payment, first establish whether it can still complete. A new method can create another order rather than replace the first one.
