ACH settlement and Bitcoin delivery are separate events. Use the provider’s order-specific terms to understand when each step can happen.
What ACH does in the purchase
ACH is a network used for U.S. bank payments. It moves dollars; it does not send Bitcoin. Your purchase provider connects the bank-payment step with the separate order to buy and deliver Bitcoin.
Nacha describes different ACH processing schedules. Those network capabilities do not tell you which schedule a particular provider uses or when it releases a cryptocurrency purchase. A general claim about fast ACH should not replace the terms shown for your order.
Keep four events distinct
Authorization means you agreed to a bank payment under the stated terms. Settlement concerns the movement of funds through the banking process. Provider review covers the conditions the purchase service must satisfy. Delivery concerns Bitcoin being sent to your checked destination.
Some events may overlap, and a provider may present them using different labels. The important question is what each label establishes. ‘Bank linked’ does not mean a payment was submitted; ‘payment submitted’ does not mean Bitcoin was sent.
- What payment did I authorize, for what amount?
- What does the provider say about settlement?
- Are verification or release conditions outstanding?
- Where can I verify the Bitcoin delivery?
Read the total timeline, not one step’s estimate
Banking schedules, the time an instruction is submitted, verification, and a provider’s handling of unsettled payments can affect the purchase. Bitcoin processing adds another stage. Use the estimate attached to the actual order and ask what that estimate includes.
For an illustrative purchase submitted late in a business day, the displayed bank debit and provider status may update on different schedules. The sensible response is to check the stated process. Starting another ACH authorization does not speed up the first one.
Ask when the price becomes fixed
Payment timing and price timing are different questions. Read whether an offer is indicative, has an expiry, or becomes binding at a specified event. Do not assume that linking a bank account or authorizing payment locks the Bitcoin rate.
At Fiat2Bitcoin, ACH availability and pricing depend on the selected Changelly provider offer. The wire service-fee schedule is separate. Check the amount charged, Bitcoin quoted, any additional costs, and the provider’s conditions before accepting.
Handle a pending or returned payment through the existing order
If the bank account is debited but the order is unresolved, gather the order reference and current statuses. Ask the provider what remains outstanding. If the bank reports a return or failure, ask how that affects the purchase rather than assuming the order closed automatically.
Keep enough money in the authorized account and follow its payment terms. Do not change funding methods while an earlier payment is uncertain. Once delivery is recorded, keep the receipt and check the receiving wallet against the intended destination.
